Meet Mrs. Myers...
I am a mom, grandmother,wife, and teacher. I live out in the peaceful, serenity of the country. I have 2 dogs: a yellow lag named Boomer and a scottish terrier named Maggie. They both love chasing rocks and barking at the deer.
When I am not teaching, you will find me with my family, at the gym, reading a good book, or out in the great out doors camping. I love the outdoors, but have decided against tent camping and I have moved on up to an RV.
As far as teaching goes, I absolutely love it. I love watching the children as they grow both socially and academically throughout the year. I love everyone in the classroom becoming a "family" filled with trust and risk taking. I love kowing that every day I go to work I am having a positive impact on the future of this small group of children. I hope that the experience each child has in my classroom will be remember for years to come.

Why LUCK?
Luck because I feel very LUCKy to have found such a wonderful second career. Originally an auditor, I always knew something was missing in regards to my career. When I would visit my daughter's kindergarten classroom, I always felt as though I was in the right place.
So... I went back to school and here I am teaching. I have found my right place.

Why LACES?
Laces because working with the little guys there is always an abundance of shoe LACES to tie. You always start out with a few that can tie, but by the end of the year most have earned the title of.... shoe tie buddy. I have been told that this is a coveted title for any 5-8 year old.
So... LUCK & LACES it is.
